Ayla slid back up on the table as she heard the voice outside the clinic, there were getting closer and closer. In getting settled the cut, but still attached cuffs rattled as she moved. Quickly she glanced around and grabbed a blanket to hid her hands under. It wouldn't do to have Alliance folk seeing them on either her of the captain. She wasn't quite sure that she would be able to pretend to be out of it, or drowsy, so she would just have to let the bruises speak for themselves.

She glanced over first towards the captain, then Ronon, before settling on the doc as she answered the Alliance soldiers outside.

The lead soldier motioned for his men to be ready. Two took position on either side of the inner door, the fourth standing just inside the exterior door, ready to call in assistance if needed.

"We're looking for an escaped convict. He's armed and dangerous and a potential threat to your entire community. He wouldn't hesitate to lay waste to every man, woman, and child that lives here, if given the opportunity."

The soldier took a step closer to the patient area, his gun at his shoulder but the point lowered.

"Three patients? Mind if we take a look at them?"

Ashe stared coldly at the barrel of the gun, before answering the soldier in clipped, precise tones.

"By all means. Look away, if it so pleases you. But these people are, without exception, in critical condition and you are not removing them from this clinic without my express consent, unless you want a body on your hands. Clear?"

It was only a bit of a lie.

The soldier eyed the doctor, but didn't respond before moving past her and into the room. His demeanor made it evident he thought little of Ashe's threat. With the backing of a squad of soldiers and armor, he didn't feel the need to acquiesce to her demands.

He first approached Ayla, keeping his back towards the wall and his face front towards August and Ronon, in case they moved.

Seeing that she was awake, he asked "What's your name, girl?"

Ronon watched as the Alliance soldier approached Ayla, His instincts wanted him to fly off of the bed and take the man down using some Ninjitsu moves , But his wisdom made him stick to the bed and watch the soldier,
Ronon remained centered within himself and he allowed the peace to guide him , Ronon laid on the bed, he wondered if this was the same group commanded by the Alliance general that had implanted the tracking device in him and made him a runner , If it was that could spell trouble, Ether they would kill him or take him and release him on another world and start chasing him for sport, Ronon looked at the soldiers insignia to see if it was from that particular Alliance vessel

August kept his mask of drowsiness up, while paying close attention to the officer. There was still a chance he would leave them all alone. Otherwise they would need to improvise. Killing the officer wouldn't be too hard, but then they would surely be killed by the other soldiers. They had to keep playing their parts for now.

The major patch wasn't familiar, as it designated the specific platoon the soldier was in, but the smaller ship insignia under the patch was one that both August and Ronon recognized - the I.A.V. Cortez.

Ayla looked up at the solider, did she lie? Or did she go ahead a use her real name? She wasn't sure that Alliance would be interested in her or in why she was in a clinic. But sometimes you could never be sure. She hoped she was keeping any sort of nervousness or anxiety out of her expression and she gave the man the only other name that popped into her head other than her own. "Lyndah."

Ronon recognized the ship insignia , yip some ship he was hauled onto and implanted with the tracking device , That rogue Alliance general was posted on the Cortez and liked tracking people for sport than torturing them
It was time to lie low and hope this Allaince goon did not do a facial scan , or it would be time to do some forceful negotiations , Ronon let the doctor talk while he played patient hoping that the dreads went un noticed with the covers over him

"Where do you live, Lyndah?"

The other soldier approached Ronon first. His accent placed him distinctively from Sihnon.

"You awake?" he asked Ronon.

Ronon lay there playing dozy man , he just grumbled incoherent words then rolled his head away as if he were in luh luh land, but unknown to the soldier Ronon was sizing him up and calculating how to kill him with some quick moves just in case , Inside Ronon did not want to talk to this guy or have to take him down, especially with a whole bunch on his purple belly friends outside
Ronon had exposed his rank tattoo on the left side on his neck when he had rolled his head away , A few of the independents had their ranks tattooed onto them , Ronon was one of them

The soldier sniffed in disdain.

"This ones all groggy, sir."

He moved to where August lay, seeing the man also seemingly out of it.

"And how about you? You awake?"

Ronon laid there listening to the Alliance officer trying to address August who was also playing "sleepy man ", he hoped that they would just leave, or they could order stretchers brought in and have them all hauled to the Alliance boat in orbit, Ronon shoved that thought aside and kept his composure

Ayla glanced at the guard that the soldier speaking to her had gestured towards, thankful that he didn't pick on her slight hesitation. But then wouldn't most patients in a clinic be somewhat out of it, especially if they had been given some pain meds. She closed her eyes and winced, not a totally fake one either given that she was in pain still. "Here." Ayla said, the answer coming out on sigh.

The soldier didn't seem very sympathetic to her plight.

"Here? Where in town? Any family or friends?"

The other soldier was gently prodding August's arm now, trying to get the man to respond.

"Hey. HEY." After a few seconds, he gave up. "These two are so doped up, sir, we aren't going to get much out of them."

"If you have nothing further to accomplish with this patient, may I entreat you to stop prodding him?" she hissed, "He is in a delicate condition, to say the least."

Ronon lay there listening to the doctor address the soldier, Ronon had thoughts of rolling off the bed and taking the purple belly down, but that would not work out good, he grumbles to get the soldiers attention diverted away from August , then movies around a bit on the bed

The lead soldier waited for Ayla's reply, but noted the situation. He nodded his head back towards the door, and the other soldier turned and said sincerely, "Excuse me, Doc," moving past Ashe to resume his post next to the door.

"No...' Lyndah-Ayla replied closing her eyes and turning her head away from the solider....might as well play the part as well as she could. "Not anymore...it was such a terrible accident.." Her voice trailed off, giving hopefully giving them the impression that she was in too much distress to elaborate.

The soldier appeared to be getting frustrated. Perhaps he was used to people falling over themselves to answer his questions.

He looked at the women - she looked like she'd been through hell, with a large bruise on her face and her skin in tatters along her arm. He considered a moment pressing her with his questions, but instead he changed his focus.

"What happened here, Doc?"
