You know, I keep forgetting this, but it's important we establish something as canon for our community.

I very much like the timelines established on such sites as http://www.mts.net/~arphaxad/firefly.html for the events of the series and the film (and their broader history).

The sims that came over from the old country were all set in 2519, specifically in late May/early June I believe. When we set up the original Phoenix forum, we allowed a window of a few months to have passed, to allow the sims to advance a bit. The Jericho was the first Firefly sim we started (at the table-top at the meet-up last August), and we stated it to be September 2519.

As such, I suggest we make it canon for all the Firefly sims to be currently September 2519, with the exception of any expansion sims we might open like ones set in the War or the like.

Atlantis, Cydonia, and Elemental are all running in September 2519 along with Jericho, and I think the others we have are too?

Kvant is in July on the other site, but there's no reason I couldn't skip a couple of months once the first bit of the plot there is ended.

As far as I know there hasn't been an exact date set for the Odyssey, but I don't see how there would be a problem with it running in September 2519.
